Visual identity for balboa dance festival.
Hanibal Balboa Festival is new dance festival taking place in Ljubljana. Balboa is one of swing dances and it was born in the early 30' (1930). Swing dance is very popular again in last decades all around the world and it has many subgenres.
Balboa is elegant, dancing mostly in closed position. We wanted highlighted those characteristics in visual identity, and find symbiosis between vintage and fresh, modern look.
